Neo Planet Web Browser

The Neo Planet web browser is an easier to use, channel oriented "plug-out" for IE 3.0 and 4.0. So, what's a plug-out?! The opposite of a plug-in of course!

But seriously, this plug-out is a shell (much like Windows is a shell over DOS - anyone remember DOS?) over IE 3.0 or 4.0 wich uses the services of IE for processing and formatting web pages and then displays them within its own interface. One of the features I particularly like is the operation of the channels, which is loke an advanced bookmark systm. Bigfoot (the proud designers of the Neo Planet interface) have sorted out some 30 or 40 main channels each with it's own subchannels which come prepackaged to get the new web user off to a good start. Adding channels is as easy as adding bookmarks, and sorting them is easy too!

One of the nicest things about this product is its ease of uninstallation. Yes, that's right - uninstallation. Too many times I have installed a product with the intention of "trying it out" only to find that when I was done the uninstaller was poor or nonexistant - leaving me stuck with the program or worse, a broken system. The Neo Planet Browser installs one .exe file in it's own directory, so all you have to do to successfully uninstall it is to delete the directory it is in. Not that I think you will want to do that, I just appreciate the forethought in design from Bigfoot. Good Job Guys!

Kudos to Warren Adelman "RainMaker" for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable product demo.
