Donald Duck: Goin' Quackers -- UbiSoft

R.I.P.
Another great game out of UbiSoft. I'll be honest, I was worried about this game when I first saw it and realized that it was essentially a fixed path 3-D side-scrolling game (Sony really ran these into the ground). But, being a big fan of the Duck Tales universe (where this game takes place), I figured I'd give it a try. Well, aside from the fact that I solved it in about six hours, this game was wonderful (and it may have gone quicker if the game control was a little less picky). As it stands, kids will likely get a much higher challenge out of the game, and be able to dedicate alot more time in trying to solve it.

Everything about the game was so good, from the gameplay, to the sound-effects, I really wish the game would have had twice as many levels. The coolest thing about the game is that the designers clearly had a real appreciation for the Duck Tales universe, and the appearance of the locations. You could really feel the attention to detail that went into the art in this game.

If you have a Dreamcast and you are a fan of the Duck Tales stylings, or Donald Duck in general, you should really look into playing through the game once. If you have kids, then it's a no-brainer... buy this title, if nothing else but to here them giggle when Donald does his little victory butt-dance.
