Maze Hunter 3-D -- Sega of America

E.Phoenix
Maze Hunter 3-D is one of the few games that was released for Sega's fantastic 3-D glasses. It is an overhead action game in the vein of Gauntlet, but at a slower pace. Your character starts the game with an iron bar as his only weapon and collects better weapons as you progress. Each level is usually comprised of three Z-co-ordinate planes putting the goggles to good use. As usual the SMS displays a very appealing array of colors and sharp graphics and sounds. The usual slow pace of the game is what ruined Maze Hunter 3-D and bored me after a while. Buy it if you can find it, but know that it's not one of Sega's best efforts.
