An interesting game that really isn't all that exciting. Your hover jet handles very poorly. The graphics are all right, and the cheesy music has to go. This one didn't last too long for me. Actually this game seems like a collection of advertisements by such products as Butterfinger and Mountain Dew. Definitely rent this one before you consider buying.

R.I.P.
Well, to start off with, the music in this game is like one of those parisites that you hear of that crawls up under skin and knaws on the raw flesh, causing so much pain that you want to cut the offending body part off sooner than extract the bug. If it wasn't cheesy 60's beach/spy music, it was country rock, but in any event it was irritating. As for the rest of the game... it wasn't all that bad. Gameplay and control were pretty average for your run of the mill "anti-gravity" style racer. Personally I felt there was overkill on the control of the ship (to many akward button combinations to perform, just to keep aright), but that's probably just me. Graphics are a bit above average, but nothing to write home about. In fact, I should note that this game was one hugh commercial endorsement. I'll refrain from repeating brand names here so as to minimize the free advertising, but let's suffice it to say that it's pretty obnoxious (ever hear of the word subtle guys!?!). Personally I'd recommend skipping this game, and if you have an N64, just go buy Wave Race 64... It crushes this hands down. Heck, even the commercials of Wave Race crush Jet Moto... sigh.
